01The archive problem in legal work
Client files scatter across email attachments, shared drives and subscription clouds. An account closing or a drive failing can break a chain of evidence built over years.
Worse: the other side may question whether a document was altered afterwards. "It existed, and it has not changed" is exactly the kind of thing you can prove in advance.
02How to fix a piece of evidence
Upload the original; the system generates a transaction ID and hash and records the time. A hash is a digital fingerprint of the file contents — change one character and the fingerprint changes completely.
When you need to present it, submit the original alongside the on-chain record. Any third party can independently verify that the two match — no need to trust us or any server.
03Who uses it, and how
Law firms archive executed contracts, evidence materials and correspondence. In-house counsel fix compliance files and internal investigation material. Individuals preserve wills, agreements and other important documents.
A case usually involves dozens of files, most under 100KB, which can be fixed for free. Larger material (scans, transcripts) is paid once by size — no annual fee, no subscription.
Common questions
Is blockchain evidence legally valid?
What we provide is proof of integrity: that a file existed at a certain point in time and has not been altered since. Rules for admitting electronic evidence differ by jurisdiction, and some courts already accept blockchain records. Whether it meets your specific needs is best confirmed with a licensed lawyer.
What if evidence needs to be updated?
On-chain files cannot be modified — that is both the cost and the value of being tamper-proof. Additional material is uploaded as a new record, while the old record remains as proof of the earlier state.
Is client material confidential?
You can choose to encrypt in the browser before anything goes on-chain. Encrypted content cannot be read by the platform; the decryption password is yours to hold — please back it up safely, as it cannot be recovered if lost.
